PROGRAM PENINGKATAN USAHAWAN BUMIPUTERA (PUTERA)

Introduction

PUTERA PROGRAM is a collaborative program between Sarawak State Financial Secretary Office and Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC). This program are specially designed in order to assist and to improve the status of potential and viable Bumiputera businessmen and entrepreneurs by providing machinery and equipment. These include business in food processing, food and beverage outlets, groceries and retails, cosmetics or beauty salons, car / motorcycle workshops and Class F contractors (UPKJ) for the development and improvement of the business operations.

Objective

• To improve the image and quality of Bumiputera small business services / operations.
• To ease the financial burden of small entrepreneurs through the assistance of equipment and machinery
• To expand the existing business by increasing sales, improving services and increasing production.
• To assist Unit Pendaftaran Kontraktor dan Juruperunding (UPKJ) registered contractors in class F only

 

Terms & Conditions

Open to Malaysian Citizen (Bumiputera Sarawak) who are :-

• Aged 18 years old and above.
• Have a valid business license / permit.
• Operate on a fixed business site.
• Conduct a full-time business.
• Net income not exceeding RM4,000.00(B40)
• The application of the stroller (Mobile Kiosk) by District Council or Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) only.

 

Assistance (Equipments And Machineries)

• Package assistance value shall not exceed RM5,000.00 for non-contractors and RM10,000 for contractors.
• Assistance provided is non-monetary through the supply of machinery or equipment.
• For PUTERA Advance, assistance value shall not exceed RM10,000.
